Here is the test to see if it is a bug in MS-DOS Kermit or the
environment in which it runs.
. Run MS-DOS Kermit
. If it does not find the port, exit MS-DOS Kermit
. Run MS-DOS Kermit
. If MSK finds the port, the bug is in the surrounding environment
. If not, the bug is in MSK
